Costs
THE basic cost of a
website is from £125, which covers the set up of a first page.
Registering the site and uploading to the internet incurs modest extra charges. (See DOMAIN and HOSTING).
After that, pricing is per page, approx £75 depending upon the content.
DOMAIN NAME
This typically costs approx £10 for a 'dot com' title to less than £5 for
a 'dot co dot uk' title usually for an initial period of 2 yrs, renewable
thereafter.
HOSTING
This is the charge for 'renting' computer server space at the internet
site provider. Costs vary, but are typically about £15 per month, for a minimum of
six months, payable in advance.
COPYWRITING
Extensive copywriting is chargeable as is photography if
required, on a per project basis.
Monthly maintenance
A fee for keeping the website up to date depending upon your
requirements. Typically £50 per month.
MEETINGS
The first meeting is free, thereafter a modest mileage charge applies
plus time at meeting.
As you can see, I try not to be expensive. Mostly the costs of production reflect the time spent creating and running the website for you.
